• Here’s what to expect:

Health Assessment - This involves a discussion of the issues, taking a detailed health history and any treatments you've tried. Here we tease out the root cause of your problems.

Customized Treatment Plan - Together we co-create a treatment plan that may include naturopathic recommendations (like dietary adjustments or supplements), lifestyle advice, and possibly herbal remedies.

Acupuncture (if appropriate): If there is time, the first session may also include acupuncture. This involves the gentle insertion of fine needles to stimulate energy flow and support healing.

  • Because this approach focuses on the root cause of symptoms, naturopathy and TCM acupuncture can address most health concerns.

Katie has two decades of experience working with a wide range of health complaints.

    She specialises in:

    • Women's health

    • Fertility

    • Pregnancy

    • Digestive disorders

    • Mental/emotional imbalance

    • Depression

    • Anxiety

  • The procedure involves the insertion of very thin, sterile needles into carefully selected points along the body’s energy meridians. These meridians correspond to different organs and functions. By stimulating these points, acupuncture aims to harmonize the body’s internal environment, improving physical and emotional health.

    Does it hurt?

Katie is the most gentle acupuncturist you're likely to find. With some points you won't feel a thing, with others there may be some sensation in the first 30secs and then it usually calms very quickly.

You'll never be left alone, and the most important thing is that you feel safe and taken care of.

Most people report feeling incredibly relaxed and rested after the treatment.

  • Absolutely. We use very fine, sterile single use acupuncture needles, which are medically disposed of at the end of the treatment.

  • Absolutely. In fact the World Health Organisation recommends it as a preferred treatment for certain pregnancy related health concerns. Katie has 20 years of experience and specific training in women's health, fertility and pregnancy.

  • Absolutely! Naturopathy is all about finding a balanced, sustainable approach to health that works for your unique body and lifestyle, not about achieving dietary perfection.

Katie's approach emphasizes meeting clients where they are and gradually making manageable, realistic changes to improve health.

The goal is to support your body’s natural healing processes in a way that feels achievable and sustainable for you.

  • It's recommended that you come once. Feel it out and see if the approach resonates with you.

How often you need to come will depend on you. The nature of your health condition, what modalities you feel like exploring, and how much you want to commit, both from a time and financial perspecitive.

Some patients come weekly, others fortnightly, others monthly. Then there are other people who just check in when they are struggling with something. All are welcome.

  • If you follow the plan, you will see results within the first month.

This approach is very results driven. If we're not seeing change or the recommendations are too hard to implement, we pivot straight away.

The definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
